Joel Edgerton Joins Netflix’s ‘Henry V’ Adaptation ‘The King’

Joel Edgerton has signed on to star alongside new Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet in “The King." The movie is the upcoming Netflix adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “Henry IV” and “Henry V." "War Machine" director David Michod will helm the film, with Brad Pitt’s Plan B producing it. Edgerton earned a Golden Globe nomination last year for his lead performance in “Loving."He has already appeared in three films this year including the Netflix cop-fantasy “Bright," and the Amazon comedy “Gringo.
