Woman defies doctors and gets back on horse after cancer surgery

Banned from riding for four months, after cancer surgery left her unable to feel her legs, a mum-of-two is now training to be a jockey for a massive charity race, after a horse helped her regain her mobility. Diagnosed with cervical cancer in July 2017, after going for her smear test six months late, Annabel England, 45, of Naunton, near Cheltenham, Glos., had a radical hysterectomy and her lymph nodes removed, during a four-and-a-half hour operation.
