Ghostly Woman That Once Inspired The Great Gatsby

Does this spooky picture show the ghost of the beautiful socialite who inspired F Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel The Great Gatsby? Kristie Ranieri took the chilling photograph of a spectral face peering out of a dormer window at the now dilapidated former summer home of Ginevra King in Lake Forest, Illinois, USA. King and Fitzgerald enjoyed a romance which began in 1915 when she was just 16 but two years later she left the author and married into a wealthy Chicago family.
